Volunteer Player Program
We proudly welcome Twin County Soccer travel player volunteers to assist with our Micro Soccer Program. The Micro Soccer Program will run on Saturday mornings during the Spring and Fall seasons. Player volunteers may assist for up to two (2) 75-minute blocks between 8:15 AM – 11:15 AM.
The Micro Soccer program is intended for our beginner soccer players, ages 3-8, who are looking to have fun, learn the basics of the game, and play soccer with their peers. Many of these players hope to join one of our travel teams in the future.
The role of our player volunteers is to assist our professional trainers in managing the session, as well as providing encouragement and inspiration to our Micro soccer players. All hours earned may be used towards Community Service hour requirements for programs such as the Junior National Honors Society, National Honors Society, etc.
Player volunteers must:
- Currently play on a Twin County travel team and/or reside in Brick, NJ and play on a local middle school or high school team.
- Be currently enrolled in fifth grade or above.
- Have a parent/guardian complete the Micro Program Volunteer Player Sign-up Form for each session the player will attend.
- Wear an official Twin County Soccer jersey for each session they attend. (Non-Twin County players may wear a jersey from their local school.)
There is no limit on how many sessions a volunteer player may attend, but volunteer positions may be limited due to space availability, so players are encouraged to sign up early.
Volunteer players ages 18 or older should contact Jacqui LeVine-Salum, TCSA Micro Program Coordinator, directly at
jacqui@twincountysoccer.org.
