Micro Soccer Program

Fun, skill-building Saturday soccer for players ages 3–8. Registration now open!

The Twin County Micro Soccer Program is a fun, accessible introduction to soccer for children ages 3–8. Sessions run on Saturday mornings at Drum Point Sports Complex and are designed to build confidence, teach foundational skills, and foster a love for the game in a structured, supportive environment.

The program runs for 8 weeks, with sessions tailored to the developmental needs of each age group. All players participate in guided activities, skills training, and free play, with an emphasis on creativity, confidence, and fun.

Saturdays – Sept 6, 13, 20, 27 · Oct 4, 18, 25 · Nov 1
Rain Dates (if needed): Nov 8 & Nov 15

Location: Drum Point Sports Complex, Brick, NJ (Micro Fields located near Snack Stand)

Session Length:
U4–U5: 45 minutes
U6–U8: 60 minutes

Time Slots (Estimated):
Final time slots will be assigned based on registration numbers.

  • U4–U5: sessions will generally run between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM
  • U6–U8: sessions will generally run between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM

Exact times may be adjusted and/or additional sessions may be added depending on registration volume. Schedule will be confirmed after registration closes.

AGE GROUP BREAKDOWN

Ages 3-4 (U4-U5)
  • Age-appropriate, play-based curriculum

  • Simple games focused on ball familiarity and fundamental movement

  • No tactical objectives – just fun and engagement

  • One player, one ball approach

  • 45-minute sessions led by professional staff

  • Includes t-shirt and medal

What to Bring

Soccer Ball (Size 3)

Please label your child’s ball with their name.

Shin guards

Must be worn under soccer socks at all times during play.

Soccer cleats or athletic shoes

Cleats are recommended for better traction, but athletic shoes are acceptable for younger players. No baseball or football cleats (no toe cleat).

Water bottle

Bring a filled, labeled water bottle to every session. Hydration is important—even in cooler weather!

Weather-appropriate athletic clothing

Dress in layers as needed. Sessions are outdoors and will run in most weather conditions.

For players ready to be part of a team, our Recreation Team Program offers weekly practices and games with volunteer coaches in a fun, low-pressure environment. It’s a great fit for both new and returning players who want to build skills, stay active, and enjoy the game with friends.
