Whether you're returning for another season or stepping into a coaching role for the first time, this page contains everything you need to succeed. From certification requirements to club policies, it's all here in one place.
Apply to Coach
We’re excited that you’re interested in coaching at Twin County Soccer.
This application helps us learn more about your experience, interests, and availability for the upcoming seasonal year. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
At the end of the form, you’ll find a link where you can upload your résumé and any coaching licenses or certifications. Multiple files are accepted—just be sure to label each file with your full name and the type of document.
After you submit the form, a member of our Board will follow up with next steps.
Coaching Requirements
Why Requirements Matter
Twin County Soccer believes youth players deserve licensed, knowledgeable, and player-centered coaches. Meeting key certification and education standards ensures a safe, development-focused experience for every player.
All coaches—Travel, Micro, and Recreation—must complete the requirements outlined in the tabs below.
Coach Education Reimbursement
Twin County Soccer offers a Coach Education Reimbursement Program to support continued learning and professional development. We believe investing in our coaches directly benefits our players and our club as a whole.

Reimbursement of up to $500 per coach per seasonal year, based on available funds

Requests over $500 will be considered on a case-by-case basis with Board approval

Priority is given to:

U.S. Soccer Grassroots and License courses

United Soccer Coaches diplomas and certifications

Additional eligible programs may include:

Coerver Coaching

TOVO Methodology

LaLiga Methodology

UEFA/FA/KNVB coursework (with pre-approval)

Pre-approval is required before registering for any course

Reimbursement is issued only after proof of successful completion

Coaches must remain in an active coaching role with the Club for at least one full seasonal year following course completion

All Travel Head Coaches at Twin County Soccer receive a complimentary coach kit from Capelli Sport, our official apparel partner. The kit promotes a consistent, professional appearance on the sideline and includes essential gear for training and match day.

Travel Assistant Coaches & Recreation Team Head Coaches
Travel assistant coaches and Recreation Team head coaches will receive one training top at no cost.
Additional items may be purchased through our Capelli Sport team store.
Tournament & Event Approval
Any tournaments or team activities not included in your team’s standard tuition-based programming must be approved by the Club. This includes all non-league play, supplemental friendlies, and special events.
New Coach Onboarding
All newly hired coaches must complete and return the following paperwork before receiving payment. Please download, complete, and email all forms to jmussel@twincountysoccer.org.
Direct Deposit Authorization
Submit your banking details along with a copy of a voided check to receive payment via direct deposit.
I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification
Required to verify your identity and work eligibility. Complete page 1 and include the proper supporting documents.
New Hire Information Sheet
Provides us with your contact details, emergency info, and coaching role.
W-4 Tax Withholding Form
Sets your federal tax withholding for payroll.
